Hello! To start, I'll tell you that a year and a half ago I left Medellín, the city where I was born and have lived most of my life. I resigned from my job at a long-standing, well-known company with a good salary; I gave up the apartment where I lived alone, sold some things, kept others, and came to live in Lisbon. It was a very personal need. I had reached a point where I felt my life was flat, that I only worked and found it difficult to enjoy myself and form new relationships. I told myself: "I know there's something more." Now I understand that I fled to find myself; it has been an arduous, painful, happy, and wonderful journey of self-discovery. Professionally, I've taken this time as a "sabbatical year." I work in a coffee shop, a job I like and have turned to on two other occasions when I lived abroad for studies, but although it has given me the peace of mind I needed and allowed me to develop other skills, I know it's not what I want to do forever, as economically it doesn't match my future aspirations and, besides, my intellectual side is restless and I have a lot to contribute; I like being part of ambitious projects, proposing, creating, pushing forward! Furthermore, I am a firm idealist and always look for ways to generate positive social impact. My drive and communication skills can't wait to get back in the game. I feel super confident!
